In 2008, she received her master's degree in Surgery from the University of Hong Kong.Later, she was promoted to associate chief physician of Beijing Children's Hospital in 2009 and chief physician in 2014. Dr. Liu Tingting specializes in pediatric surgical emergencies, and has accumulated rich experience in various types of laparoscopic surgery, intestinal obstruction surgery, common operations in children, and has also done more research on trauma treatment and nutritional support for children. Dr. Liu Tingting is a youth member of the Beijing Society for Emergency Medicine, and also the Pediatric Branch member of the China Association for Disaster & Emergency Rescue Medicine, as well as the member of Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons(PAPS). She has participated in the compilation of many works including Zhang Jinzhe Pediatric Surgery.
