Degree: Bachelor of Clinical Medicine, MD in Surgery; Nationality: Chinese; Languages: English, Mandarin; Dr Phil earned his Bachelors of Clinical Medicine in 2001 and doctorate degree in Surgery in 2006 from Health Science Centre of Peking University. He started off his career as a resident of surgery. With more than 20 years’ medical experience, he specialises in emergency medicine, acute and critical treatment and various surgical procedures. Before joining Raffles Hospital Beijing, Dr Phil worked in several renowned domestic and international hospitals as Chief Resident of General Surgery and attending doctor of critical care medicine. He also worked in International SOS for 8 years serving as ER physician, flight doctor of ICU team and senior coordinating doctor to ensure the flight transfers of his patients. Dr Phil has obtained certificates of BLS, ACLS, ITLS and Air Rescue Medicine Provider.
