Degree: MDS in Periodontology and Oral Implantology; Nationality: Indian; Languages: English, Hindi, and Kannada; Dr Geeta Metage received her Master of Dental Surgery in 2017 from Rajiv Gandhi University in India. She has over ten years of experience in dentistry and seven years in oral implantology. She provides treatments in all aspects of general dentistry, and specialises in periodontal procedures (for example flap surgeries, crown lengthening, bone graft, and GTR membrane procedures), oral screening and taking biopsy for the oral lesions (leukoplakia and lichen planus). Dr Geeta also has a strong interest in performing prosthodontic and endodontic procedures including crown, bridges, restoration, bleaching, as well as laser dentistry. She has participated in college lectures and clinical demonstrations to dental students. Apart from that, she is also passionate about paediatric dentistry, such as educating children in proper brushing techniques, conducting assessment of dental care and treatment, providing habit breaking appliances and AAPD recommendations. Prior to joining Raffles Hospital Beijing, she has worked in other international clinics in Shandong province and Shanghai.
